Yemane now all-time top ranked 5000m for Male U18

Yemane Mulugeta raced to a 14:47 for 5000m beating the previous National all-time ranking by 20 seconds. Congratulations Yemane, your hard work is paying off. We now have 2 Ocean Athletes in the top 3 all-time ranking for U18 with Connor Nicol ranked 3rd with his 15:07 from March. Yemane’s school coach, Mark Corbishley has gone out of his way to help Yemane become a Permanent Resident. He learned to run through the forests of Eritrea where he grew up. Yemane will compete in the 3000m and 2000m steeplechase this weekend as a Senior while Connor competes as a Junior in 1500m, 800m and 3000m.
